Update on final paycheck for 2015.
The final pay date for the year is December 31, 2015, because of the New Year’s Day holiday on Friday. As a result, 2015 has an “extra” pay period (the 27th of the year for biweekly-paid employees; the 53rd for weekly-paid employees).
For the December 31 paycheck, only deductions for taxes, Savings Plan contributions, Savings Plan loans, Flexible Spending Accounts and/or garnishments will be taken. There will be no deductions for medical insurance or other benefits (which are pro-rated over 26/52 pay periods), so your net pay may be higher than usual.
Regular deductions will resume with the first paycheck of 2016.
